Sadly my Dad had to miss his own celebration due to a flu bug making the way around the family.

I had made him this circus cookie cake because he is so young at heart.

When I called him the next day, he said he was sad to miss the party, "Life is a circus"

I laughed and told him I had made a circus cake.

Doing a lemon cupcake with light yellow frosting, lemon zest on top and a candy lemon wedge on top! Oh, a lemon filling. Doesn't that sound yummy!

Ryan and his sweet friend "A" have a birthday just a day apart. This is my version of a Boy/Girl cupcake combo. A bit of something for everyone~

Happy Birthday Ryan! We had fun making these cupcakes, they turned out more "flowery" than I wanted. Actually I had to ask Ryan if he still wanted to bring these to school for his Birthday treat. Thank goodness, he did!

Was fun to get my supplies out, Ryan Loves to help me. 

Off today to make another Birthday treat for a party tomorrow and another Sunday.
